"After 8.2 yrs, our BOSCH (800 series) dishwasher finally bit the dust. As much as we wanted it repaired, it was not worth the $. The unit would not power up and leaked water the night before. Terry came by and was very good about telling us the path it would take to get it powered up (put in a new control board $$) and then they would have to chase down the other issue (water leak) to repair. He said it was not worth it. The cost would be high for an old unit that outlived its purpose anyway and we should look into a new purchase. He was up front, honest, and professional. He gave us advise as to the next brand we should buy. Very pleasant. It's hard to find people in this industry who can be honest instead of saying, 'ya, we can fix it' knowing it will cost you and the unit will not last much longer anyway. Most brands will not last longer than 5-7 yrs. That's how they are built. We got 8.2 yrs, so we were lucky. The service call was quick and easy but not rushed. We called yesterday and they showed up today. And, if we had gone with them to do the repair, the service call ($110) would have gone toward the cost of repair. Can't beat that. Others wanted $180, non refundable, and they would come out in January 2026, a month later."
